One Last Time

October 2019 - New animated music video in collaboration with Javier Longobardo, freelance artist and animator from Granada, Spain.

“One Last Time is their punchiest work yet...Stomptown has successfully delivered us the brass soundtrack of the year. - Hotpress.com

“One Last Time is the latest original release from Stomptown Brass which has arguably emerged as one of the most unique live acts in Ireland in recent times with an array of diverse projects to their name.

In One Last Time, the infectious energy of the band’s previous releases can be heard with a darker, more texture-driven groove which is typical of the band’s more recent output - music which combines their second-line jazz roots with a more eclectic mix of styles and sounds, from more modern jazz forms to different electronic music genres.

The track’s relentless drive has made it a live favourite in the band’s various shows over the last two years with its epic fanfare providing a memorable salutation to the memory of truth in the band’s most recent Requiem for the Truth tour in 2018.

The band is releasing an animated music video for the track in collaboration with Javier Longobardo, freelance artist and animator from Granada, Spain. The video has already been shortlisted for awards at the New York Independent Film Festival, the Tokyo Lift-Off Film Festival, Mexico’s Cut Out Festival, Sick‘n’Wrong Film Festival in Florida and the Oviclip Festival in Asturias.”
